The beds were comfortable, check-in and check-out process was easy, subway station was conveniently close, room had a balcony with a good view, room was clean, bathroom was nice.

Excellent value in an area undergoing rapid redevelopment. The spacious room and clean bathroom were impressive. The balcony added a nice touch and the location was great. The staff was helpful when I requested an iron and ironing board. I would recommend this hotel.

The whole experience was great. The location was incredible, just a pleasant stroll away from Museum of the Moving Image.

The hotel provided good prices. Quaint and clean place with a friendly reception. I loved the standard king room and had a fine stay.

I had a fabulous time staying in this hotel. It was so close to the subway station, making it super convenient to explore the city. The room was spacious and clean, with a beautiful view of the Manhattan skyline from the upper floors. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Bastien at the reception. I also enjoyed the delicious food at the nearby restaurants Dutch Kills Centraal and Mike's Pizza. a great experience.

The only downside was that the walls were a bit thin, so I could sometimes hear noise from nearby rooms or the lobby.

Little small hotel in unbeatable location very close to subway station.

The hotel was fairly clean, I loved it. The staff was helpful and amiable, the breakfast offered was great with lots of food.

This hotel offers great value for money, with affordable prices and attention to detail. I appreciated the convenient location right next to the 39th ave subway stop, making it easy to explore the city. The staff provided excellent service and were attentive to our needs. The rooms with a kitchenette were a bonus, equipped with comfortable beds and a large bathroom with a great shower. I also liked that the AC could be controlled for personalized comfort. Additionally, the breakfast, although not included, was served and added to the overall convenience.

All was satisfactory, no improvements needed.

Its staff was amiable and accommodating. Generally everything was nice, even so the bathroom was very small. This hotel was located in a central area very close to Manhattan, a subway station, a coffee shop. Very very good stay, we were there for 1 day.

Nice place! Clean and very accommodating overall. Close to metro station N which takes you directly to the very center of Manhattan (only 10 minutes away). Very good location and very good establishment that I highly recommend. Luggage storage service after check-out at the top!

unfortunately, there is no breakfast offered and when we arrived we got a room that was not made - but we could immediately change into a tidy one. staff was quite apathetic... heating was a hot air blower, dries the air extremely - if you turn it off, room gets very cold very fast.

I recently had a great stay at a hotel near the subway stop on 39th Ave. The rooms had excellent views of Manhattan and the bathrooms were spacious with amazing showers. The beds were big and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The hotel offered great value for money and the prices were reasonable. The staff provided attentive service and the basic amenities were well taken care of.

I liked the location a few steps away from the subway. We have the possibility to take several subway lines. I took the room because of the climatic events that happened on December 1st in New York. I wasn't disappointed by the price and room.

The view and wifi

We appreciated the location, comfort of the bed, nice view from the room and cleanliness of the place.

We can't say that the reception staff is very welcoming, we seem to bother them more than anything else. There were no kitchen utensils when we arrived.

On the positive side, the hotel's location was excellent. It was conveniently located near a subway station, making it easy to explore the city. the short ride to popular attractions like Times Square and LaGuardia Airport was a major plus. Despite the ongoing construction in the area, it surprisingly remained quiet. the renovated and clean rooms, along with the comfortable bed, made our stay enjoyable. it was a decent option considering the affordable price compared to other hotels in the area.

The check-in process was confusing and inconvenient. We were charged the full amount on our credit card before even checking in, which wasn't clearly explained beforehand.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Vetiver. The quirky charm of the hotel added to the enjoyment of our trip. The room was clean and comfortable with plenty of natural light, thanks to the balcony door. The staff, including those not at the front desk, were friendly and always cordial. Having a subway station nearby made it easy for us to explore Manhattan and visit our family and friends in other boroughs. The 24-hour free coffee and tea in the lobby was a great bonus, and the Dunkin Donuts down the street was a convenient breakfast spot. the hotel provided everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

room was very clean and large. there are some nice cafés and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. next subway station 39rd avenue is also nearby. if you don't expect any special luxury, don't have to be constantly belly-pinched and can also manage on your own, hotel is the perfect place for you. anyway, we liked it very much and we had nothing to complain about.

only the kitchenette could not be used due to the lack of crockery, cutlery and cooking pots. contrary to the description, there was also no coffee in the room, whole day was free of charge at the reception. contrary to the description, breakfast is also not available. room provided for it is used for storing cleaning materials and other stuff. the staff is reserved. this does not seem to be unusual for new york, if you kindly tell the time of day. it is at least reciprocated,

Excellent location! In 15 minutes you are in the center. There is a subway station about a block and a half away. The room and bathroom were very comfortable and large with everything available, with plenty of room to store clothes. Good heating.

kitchenette is not very useful because there are no dishes or pots in the room. Cleanliness is its lowest point. One day they moved my things that I had on the bedside table and left them on the desk (I don't know why) and lost an earring. I told them about the situation they told me that they had not moved anything (so they did not apologize about it) but that I was going to do the cleaning well to look for it, that never happened. Looking for the earring I saw under the furniture and bed and it was disgusting (things from previous passengers, hair, garbage, etc). So you know, you have to take care of your personal stuff here!

I booked a small room with a nice view and was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and helpful staff. Although there was no air conditioning remote, the front desk quickly provided one. The nearby subway made getting to Manhattan easy. I'd recommend this spot for a budget trip.

price-performance ratio not ok. situation is indeed good concerning the subway connection, otherwise not really nice there. we had the bad luck that in the warm summer night (balcony door opened) felt 20 garbage trucks cleaning the street in front of the hotel. an extreme volume. we were only there for one night, so it might be quieter on other days. there was no feel-good atmosphere for me either, neither in the rooms nor in the surrounding area. so for one night, without garbage trucks and a reasonable price, it would be ok.

It's one minute from the subway and subway is very well connected to Manhattan, it takes 10 12 minutes to times square that's great

That the air conditioning control does not leave you in the room, they stay and you have to call them to turn off or turn on the heating

The price is very good and it is very close to several subway stations for easy travel to Manhattan

The area's not the prettiest. The nearest subway station sometimes doesn't work at night. The hotel is fine, but it's not luxurious

Convenient, clean, and cheap accommodation with friendly staff, close to subway stations and a great selection of local bars and restaurants. A fantastic base for exploring the city's main attractions without breaking the bank. Highly recommended.

I really liked the accessibility of the hotel with the Subway so I could move around everywhere.

I didn't like that they don't offer breakfast, but it's something that complements the things offered in the lobby.

The proximity of the subway, really very close . Coffee and tea at will at the reception.

Hostesses are not pleasant... The towels are practically all stained... No smoking on the balcony . No soundproofing, even with earplugs you could hear people in the corridor, in the street + traffic . The heating / air conditioning really very noisy so had to turn it off at night in the middle of November.
